Designed to EmpowerAAPI Students, Early-Career Professionals and Community Members

HAAPI Roots is a resource program designed to empower AAPI students, early-career professionals, and community members with accessible, culturally relevant professional development tools. The program offers short, action-oriented "First Step" Guides alongside monthly "Deep Dive" Resource Toolkits to help participants navigate networking, mentorship, advocacy, and career growth. By blending free-access materials with donation-based downloads, sponsorships, and institutional partnerships, HAAPI Roots creates a scalable digital ecosystem that strengthens community connections and builds future leaders.

We provide low-barrier, beginner-friendly resources for AAPI community members who may not know where to start with networking, mentorship, leadership, advocacy, or professional development. Our resources are meant to strengthen HAAPI’s role as a community ecosystem that connects people to knowledge, relationships, events, and opportunities. We work to increase community engagement before and after HAAPI events by giving attendees practical tools they can use immediately. Through our resources, we create a scalable resource library that can grow over time and support fundraising through donations, sponsorships, and paid expanded content.

Goal #1

Publish a consistent series of short, high-value “First Step” Guides that help community members take action with confidence.

Goal #2:

Build a reusable content library that can be shared through HAAPI’s website, newsletter, social media, Discord/community channels, and partner organizations.

Goal #3

Creating event-specific guides that prepare attendees before panels, mixers, volunteer opportunities, and workshops.
